WOMEN WITH COPD WE NEED YOU! JOIN OUR RESEARCH STUDY DETERMINING THE FEASIBILITY OF A WOMEN-SPECIFIC VIRTUAL AND IN-PERSON PULMONARY REHABILITATION PROGRAM IN NOVA SCOTIA Supervised Exercise Training Exercise sessions will be 30 minutes in length and will occur twice weekly for 8-weeks. All exercise sessions will be supervised by a Certified Exercise Physiologist either online using Zoom or in-person at Acadia University, Wolfville, NS Education Sessions Once weekly for 20-30 minutes an education session will be held including topics on medication, symptom management, and smoking cessation Improve Your Health Participation in pulmonary rehabilitation programs have been shown to be effective in improving symptom severity and activities' of daily living and you will have the opportunity to build relationships with other participants!
